Glenn Beck: “Laying the goundwork for a false gospel.”

The following quote comes from a great article by Randy Lovegreen regarding a recent episode of Glenn Beck’s T.V. program in which Beck brazenly advanced a Mormon fallacy:

Beck is using his show to break the ice for Mormon theology, and promoting a worldview that supports the beliefs of his church. His hour long infomercial for Mormon history only makes it easier for those well groomed young men on bicycles to strike up a conversation, and lead folks astray. . . . As Christians, we must constantly be on guard against anything which may seek to corrupt our faith. This includes charming conservative talk show hosts, even if they are on Fox News.

  1. One needs to understand that the mormon “church” was started by a “free”mason and I personally believe it was to purposely destroy true doctrine.

In fact, the United States in and of itself was conceived by Sir Francis Bacon to become the “New Atlantis” which is to usher the world into the New World Order led by The Antichrist.

    From a Christian perspective:

    Watch for free on Google Video: – Volume 1 – 2:45 – Volume 2 – 2:55 – Volume 3 – 2:51

Mr. Beck has shown himself to be part of this agenda.

  2. The ground work for false gospels was laid long ago. Beck and other Mormons build on that foundation of anathema. Defenders of such are classic useful idiots or willing slaves of Satan.

  3. More on “Mr. Magic Masonic Mormon Underpants”….

“Beck’s marriage of politics and religion raising questions”

“At rally, Beck positions himself as new leader for Christian conservatives”

    A side note:

I don’t know if anyone is aware but Palin is on board with Beck and she is perhaps much more dangerous to true Christians than any other cult.

She belongs to the NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) which is headed by C. Peter Wagner and others.

The NAR has made it no small secret that they will kill anyone (Christians included) that opposes them or their doctrine.

  4. Wow….

    Fourth Abrahamic faith???

I thought there were only 2 and 1 of those was done away with by God Himself with the temple veil being rent.

It’s just that kind of article that reinforces my belief that seminaries are cemeteries…

Most of the disciples were fishermen and I think we would do well to think hard on that every time the “scholars” open their so-called all knowing mouths…

  5. UuprofitableServant: I actually know the answer to this one. Historically, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are called the The The Abrahamic Faiths because these three belief systems (Christianity is a faith, not a religion) build upon claims of the Covenant that God made with Abraham. Personally, I have no problem with people calling Mormonism the fourth one because that implies an acknowledgement that Mormonism is not Christianity.

  6. Hi RGF,

I was aware that the moon “god” sin “religion” from Persia tries to tie itself to Abraham but was being sarcastic about their claim to the third and subsequently the forth by mormonism.

Neither Abraham or the one true God that called him appreciates being tied to either false religion.

Here are a few good sites that expose “islame”

I just can’t find it in me to allow either of those false religions to even make claims to Abraham let alone the one true God.

  7. U.S.: Its origins and Mohammed plagiarizing the Persian mythology aside (when he wasn’t molesting his 9 year old wife), Islam makes the claim of being descended from Abraham, which is why it is called one of the 3 Abrahamic faiths. Ironically, Moslems are most offended by this distinction – the Koran claims that Abraham declared Allah the one true god. The fact that Abraham probably would not like his mane associated with Islam (assuming he even cares right now) is irrelevant; the term “Abrahamic faiths” already has a meaning, and we can’t choose to change it; claiming it doesn’t is like claiming that the WWE doesn’t stand for World Wrestling Entertainment because it isn’t entertaining.

I am not saying that Islam is the truth, or even close to the truth; it isn’t. All I am saying is that arguing over terminology that is ultimately pointless is, well, pointless. All it does is give the anti-Christians an excuse to see us as ignorant.

  8. I personally don’t care what anti-Christians think about anything.

From islamists, to evilutionists, to the vanilla secular.

Their opinions don’t matter one iota.

    As for Christians:

2 Corinthians 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

  9. “I personally don’t care what anti-Christians think about anything.”

Well, I DO care, because 1) I have to work around them, and 2) before coming to Christ, we were ALL anti-Christian. It does no good to the cause of Christ to display ignorance, let alone take pride in it.

  10. I have to work around them as well.

And the fact that we were all un-Christian before has no bearing on the way we are to act and speak after being born again.

    As it is written:

Ephesians 2:3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

No one from Abraham to Jesus and the apostles EVER conceded truth to unbelievers.

    As it is written:

2 Corinthians 6:17,18 17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” 18 “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”

No coming out and we can rightly say that we will not be received by the Lord and God is not our Father.

You are mistaking my refusal to be wishy washy with pride and arrogance.

If you noticed, this site is named “Defending Contending” not “Contending Against Defending Contending”.

  11. Just read another article on Mr. Becks DC gathering.

He makes some good points along with some not so good ones.

I’ve read News With Views less and less frequently than I used to because of their thinking that we can vote evil out of the country and legislate morality.

While everyone has been screaming about abortion and the rampant homosexualizing of society, where is the rebuke of adultery and fornication from the pulpit? What about rebuking hating of brethren? Or gossip?

Not to mention the propaganda News With Views spreads that the “founding fathers” were Christian and they were looking to create a Christian nation.

Most of the founders but for a few exceptions were “free”masons with an agenda to create a “Novus Ordo Seclorum” AKA New Secular Order or New World Order.

Jesus said, Matthew 23:9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

That would definately include George Washington.

One can’t rebuke Glen Beck without a scathing rebuke in the direction of Promise Keepers. They were even more dangerous than the obvious cult of mormonism.

I agree with Daves rebuke towards America’s pastors. Every last one of them with nary a few exceptions. But not for his reasons. Because they lord over the flock and refuse to equip them. Maybe they are worried about job security?

I disagree with his support of the Tea Party and thinking Christians should be involved in politics.

Christians are to preach the gospel and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees (false religion) and of Herod (politics).

    Promise Keepers exposed;

I don’t necessarily advocate the preceding links but for their exposing the Promise Keepers.

But Dave’s article is more of exactly what we need to beware of. The Hegelain Dialectic.

And as far as an end time revival…. Paul said there would be a falling away, not a revival.
