Don’t Try This, Please!

These folks sicken me to the core. It’s no wonder that the world doesn’t take Christ and His true church seriously anymore, because you now have more of such clowns running about town! Besides, who can hear the Gospel when they are too busy laughing themselves silly?

If you aren’t convinced, here’s a secular TV show in the United Kingdom having a whale of a time poking fun at some of our “favorite” Word-of-Faith preachers.

I can’t wait for our Lord’s return when He will clean this all up just as He chased those merchants out of the temple!

  1. Wow! Never mind trying to do something radical like opening the eyes of a church full of lukewarm Christians and false converts, lets go to the mortuary and raise the dead! The devil must be pretty proud of how far off our focus is.

  2. Besides, who can hear the Gospel when they are too busy laughing themselves silly?

Or who can hear the Gospel when they’re lying dead in a mortuary?

And praying that a violent spirit would rise up within us? Whaaaa?

  3. Irony:

When you go out to raise the dead while you are spiritually dead yourself.

“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord GOD, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 37:1-6)

It is God who raises both the physically dead and the spiritually dead. But He does do on His terms and in His time, not when fools go forth purporting the authority of Christ.

“But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?”” (Acts 19:15)

  4. Being radical is doing what the Lord has instructed as to do. Being radical is to be “wise”, where we have the fear of the Lord, thus beginning of wisdom. what the woman says on the first video is irrational and unbiblical. Acts 1:8 says that when the Holy spirit comes upon us, we shall be witnesses, to the ends of the earth. not to have violent spirit and go to mortuaries in the ends of the earth.
To be honest, on the second (secular) video, I am guilty of laughing myself silly on their impersonation of Benny Hinn.
