It’s not too late to send a Christmas gift to support a native missionary to help further the gospel. Just click here.

  1. Please dont support him. He is corrupt and he lies. He uses money meant for evangelism to build mansions for his family members consisting of several neices, nephews and other relatives. His is a stumbling block to native missionary efforts. I am a personal witness to how he misleads his donors and how he mistreats his staff and belivers. He forces members of his church to wear ornaments they gave up when they became christians. He was a pentecostal, then baptist, claimed to be just a believer. Now he is Metropolitan Bishop, and his pride will soon lead to his downfall. Oh Lord, Judge him so your Holy Name will not be defiled among the heathen.

  2. @ Paul wow, those are some strong claims. In his sermon do we really believe in hell, he said he sold everything he had emptied bank account & went to mission fields. Do you have any proof?

  3. Paul, I have heard from many that rumors fly like wild fire around India. If you could provide some references that would be great, otherwise you should not say such things in the public square. -Jim

  4. Seriously Paul, you can’t say things like that to lead people one way so strongly without any evidence. I have never read anything credible that K.P. Yohannan is doing anything but great work for the kingdom.

  5. Don’t be too hard on Paul. I believed as you do & am a Gospel for Asia (GFA) monthly supporter, but now I’m not so sure. As India is a Hindu country, I’m not surprised to see anti-Christian sentiments & outlandish comments about GFA/Believers Church/K.P. Yohannan. However, some negative comments seemed to be substantiated. For example, videos grossly exaggerating disasters, in order to raise more donor funds–which were used for other purposes. They strive for world-class educational facilities, & indeed some of their photos seem to substantiate that. K.P. Yohannan, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies & an honorary doctorate, is called “His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. K.P. Yohannan Metropolitan” (Archbishop) or “His Eminence Most Rev. Dr. K.P. Yohannan, Metropolitan Bishop” at their websites. He was ordained a bishop & has several bishops under him. This appears to contrast with the humble man we hear about in North America who works with the poorest of the poor. Continuing my research. I want to know the truth.

  6. Really? Can you please provide evidence? What KP has done has meant so much to me. What about when Francis Chan went to India and said that it is all for real? Was even Francis Chan tricked? I have never given to GFA personally but they have meant so much to me and everything he writes seems so spirit lead and has guided me so well and strengthened my faith. Please email me at dalcowboiz@gmail.com if you find out more 😦

  7. This is interesting. I have personally visited their headquarters in India and was amazed at how lavish it was. I did not spend much time there, so I can not attest to how the funds are being used. I’m sure that 100% of the funds raised for to Asia is sent as promised. If you read the fine print under supporting a national missionary, it doesn’t say 100% of it will support your national missionary – it says 100% of it will “go to the field”. There definitely seems to be a lot of smoke.

  8. Please don’t donate to the ministry. ECFA has dropped them as a Charter member. Ministry Watch has asked all donors to stop giving money. Paul Jacob is telling you the truth!! If only people had listened to him 5 years ago!!

In a very strongly worded statement, Rusty Leonard at Ministry Watch is advising donors to immediately cease donations to Gospel for Asia in light of the violations reported on this blog and referred to by the ECFA.

    Read the entire statement here:
