BICM Missions Support

DefCon supports the church planting work of Bible Institute of Church Ministries (BICM) deep in the bush in Liberia, West Africa.

BICM (Bible Institute of Church Ministries) is a Bible training program started under the auspices of VCP (Village Church Planters) an organization which strives to take the gospel of Jesus Christ into the interior of the African country of Liberia where the name of Christ has not yet been proclaimed. And unlike so many other mission organizations with costly overhead and advertising bills, 100% of all donations to BICM go directly to the work of advancing the gospel among the indigenous people of Liberia.

Please check out www.love4liberia.com and prayerfully considering joining them in reaching the unreached in the African jungles.

The Escalera family (working with BICM/VCP) spent a year of preparation before moving to Liberia to teach the the Word of God among the native peoples, particularly with the Kpelle tribes. Unfortunately, a series of events including a collapse due to medical conditions have brought them back to the USA. The work continues though under the direction of Pastor David Quinah, who was being trained by Mark Escalera.

Their website, Love 4 Liberia (L4L), can be found at www.Love4Liberia.com. Thank you for your support during the time they spent in West Africa. Please continue to pray for the work.
