I wish the public schools would focus on reading, writing, math and *real* history…so thankful for the freedom to homeschool. We are entering our fourth year and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

They are exposing kindergartners to homosexuality in a “value neutral” way.

Lol Jim, I don’t care for the treatment gays have received by many in the Bible belt states, but the comment was funny. I understand you just wanting to get away from it all.
We have surely come to the point of no return in society which was spoken of long ago: there will come a time when they will no longer tolerate sound doctrine. In our attempts to hold on to decency for how ever long we can, we also need to keep these things in mind.
The world is decieved and the only way to help anyone see the truth is going to be through love. And there will be times when even love will not be able to help them see through the deception and so we need to accept the facts as they are and still act in love.
As we see many things unfolding in the world we may not like them, but at least we can look at things and see the evidence of Biblical prophecies playing out before our eyes. That should give us more peace and reassurance through it all.
Add to last comment… it would be helpful to try and understand that what people dealing with homosexual feelings are coping with is extremely difficult for them. Changing such feelings is one of the hardest things a human being can face. Whatever the causes, it is an adversarial attact on a human being that most people cannot comprehend. It is hard to look beyond the arrogance often displayed to show that love, but remember that heterosexuals also act that way all the time.

Thank you for your comments. We must always give truth in love; we must also understand the origin of sin…the human mind. Homosexuals act out their forbidden lust because that is what is in their minds to do. They think, they see, they lust, they act. This is what the Lord taught in Matthew 15:19 and what comes out of the heart; in this case fornication translates homosexual and lesbian lust and sex (see http://www.blueletterbible.org). Christ clearly states this is what defiles…what is in our hearts. He did not single out homosexuality and treat it with kid gloves; He spoke truth. We MUST understand and study sin, its origin and its bondage in order to rightly give truth. There is much confusion on the sin of homosexuality because many have let themselves be influenced by the world. As a former lesbian saved by His grace, I understand what I once was in bondage to and where that sin originated from…within my own lustful and wicked heart.
