“Sometimes the most interesting trips are the ones that take you places you never thought you’d go.  These are mysteries in the most profound sense,” said “Nightline” executive producer Jeanmarie Condon.  “Stories that defy proof and perception are the ultimate adventure – and perfect for summer – to kick off our 13 specials.”

  1. Funny how heathen deride the spiritual Truth of God’s Word but many are quick to believe in the spiritual of the world – as if to parade something that proves Christian faith is nothing special.

  2. The simple fact is there are supernatural/paranormal events. Obviously the Bible bears witness to this, as well as extremely well documented cases involving things like remote viewing, mediums, levitations, and what might best be called “hauntings”, akin to what Christians may describe as demonic oppression/posession.

One would think this reality would tend to militate against the naturalistic-materialist position which necessarily must deny the supernatural/paranormal, but apparently man is such an incurably superstitious and religious creature that he can’t bring himself to jettison all things spiritual, only those things that are distinctively Christian-theistic in flavor.

I suppose the naturalistic-materialist might set forth an argument that the paranormal simply hasn’t been well understood or described scientifically yet, but given enough time and research that it too could be categorized naturalistically, if not materially.

…they will not be persuaded, even if someone were to rise from the dead – Luke 16:31b

    In Christ,
    CD
