  1. Amen – and He shall be called Messiah, for He WILL save His people. Not might save, not try-to-save. He WILL save!

And one of the verses that fool spouted proves him a liar – Romans 10:14 reveals the reformed Ordo Solutis – “How, then, can they call on whom they do not believe?” Regeneration PRECEDES faith!

The vast majority of passionate, effective evangelists known to the world have been reformed/Calvinist (in the since that Spurgeon summed it up – Calvinism is merely short-hand for the biblical gospel) people who fear God and serve Him.

As Steve Farrar put it at a conference I was at years ago – Folks told me that getting saved was like I was overboard in a high sea and someone tossed me a life preserver, and all I had to do was reach out and grab it. But I was dead in my sin and falling to the bottom of the ocean. I could not see, much less reach out for the life preserver. No – Christ dragged me up from death into life, set my feet on the rock and bids me follow Him!

  2. I don’t think so, MA.

The preacher in the video doesn’t look or sound like Rob Bell, plus he’s much too convinced about what he believes, and finally he seems to think there’s such a place as hell.

Maybe if he grows a megachurch by appealing to the itching ears of goats seeking to have their consciences salved, goes on to singlehandedly destroy innumerable local churches under the guise of “unity”, then proceeds to promote global syncretistic/ecumenical efforts between the professing Christian church and the world, and finally takes up the Popish mantle of “America’s Pastor”, perhaps he’ll get on MacArthur’s radar in three or so decades and be publicly exposed as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, or on the other hand maybe he won’t.

    In Christ,

Very disturbing video. Watching another version of that same clip, toward the end at 4:14, the caption came up that read “the word Sovereign is not found in the Bible, not even once.” Huh?! Are they saying that God is not sovereign, and if so, what “bible” do they use to support that claim?

2 Corinthians 4.3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants [2] for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

John 6.63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) 65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”

Anderson is self-absorbed and a biblical illiterate.
His doctrinal statement says… “We believe that the King James Bible is the word of God without error”.
Really? So the KJV translation is without error????
It shows where he stands by not attributing infallibility on the scriptures in its original language.

  6. These King James Only people are to be pitied. I love the KJV and consider it a wonderful English language Bible – but it is NOT the Autograph and HAS errors which are well documented. James White has an excellent review of the problems with a KJV Only view: http://vintage.aomin.org/kjvo.html

What young Mr. Anderson (I keep hearing the voice of Agent Brown from the Matrix) and his “elders” teach is worship of the KJV Bible, failing to see any difference between the man-God Jesus Christ and the written revelation of God, the inspired Word. But, since these folks deify man – putting the creature in command of saving himself – there is no end to what error they will embrace.

  7. Daniel 2:47: The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”

As a good contrast to the weak, man-dependent god of the initial video, here’s a good reminder of how the God of gods describes Himself: http://vimeo.com/4500373

This is the man who also was tasered and pulled from his car by border patrol agents. He got his 15 minutes of fame on Alex Jones’ show and Bill O’Reilly’s radio show. He quickly faded once the media realized he was a few rocks shy of a load.

He completely forgot Romans and submitting to authority when he failed to exit the vehicle after ICE agents requested him. He resisted arrest by locking himself in his car, was tasered and then drug by his feet out of the car. His face received several lacerations during this “extraction” and so he felt justified in going on national TV to tell his story. All the while being introduced as a “pastor” and a “man of God’s Word”. He shamed our Lord and Master that day in my opinion, but then again, I have done no better.
