Judgment!

  1. Judgment IS coming!
    Time is short!
This is very good, very sobering, very timely.

  2. Most sobering and truthful. Why, oh God, do You not consume us daily? Because of Your great mercy on those You have chosen! Let the redeemed of the Lord PRAISE HIS NAME! We all deserve His wrath. But Christ took that from His Father on our account – that we might be called the sons and daughters of the living God. Not according to the blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Praise Him, ye saints. Weep for your sin and praise Him. Howl ye sinners! For great is His wrath, stored up for you on that Day. Repent and believe on the Lamb – He alone is the refuge; He alone is God, who saves the elect from God on Judgment Day. Praise Him!

  3. Amen Manfred!
I am always amazed that God just doesn’t make a greasy spot of me on the sidewalk.
If He never does another thing for me, “it is enough that Jesus died, and that He died for me.”
    For ME!
    Glory to His name!

  4. I saw this video yesterday on http://www.narrowseventhirteen.blogspot.com/ Voddie pushes the point that we deserve hell and that the death of Christ was enough! to satisfy holy God.

    Thanks for this video Lyn.

  6. You are welcome Matthew; to God be tbe glory.

  7. That day spoken of according to the speaker has not yet come. Yet according to popular Christian belief, there are already people in hell suffering for their sins, but are not yet judged? And again, according to most, there are many in heaven enjoying the blessings of eternal life, but, again, they have not yet been judged!
He speaks also of the gathering together of EVERYONE, without exception, on that great day of judgement, when the sheep are separated from the goats. If most are now in hell and many in heaven, are they not already separated? Or is God going to bring all back to the earth and go through the whole process again?
Sorry, but I see a number of fatal flaws in the current teachings of judgement, and some very confusing and conflicting teachings.

  8. Christians are judged according to their works for rewards gained or lost (1 Cor.3:12-15) sinners are cast into the lake of fire at the final judgment. Hell itself will be cast into the lake of fire (Rev.20:14). Those who die w/o Christ are currently in outer darkness (Job 10:21,22). Those who die in Christ are presently with Him (Phil.1:23).
Hope this clears up some of your confusion.

  9. unworthy1: Now here’s my question: my understanding is that these are different judgments, with no overlap, and at different times. Am I correct in that?

  10. 2 Cor.5:10 speaks of the judgment seat of Christ (or bema seat). This is to reward for the things done in the body; this is not a reference to sin since Christ has already paid that debt.
The great white throne judgment is for unbelievers, however, my ESV translation commentary on Rev.20:12 states this includes both God’s saints and Satan’s worshipers…I personally disagree with that commentary.
As for the timing on these judgments, that has been debated by many. Maybe this link will help…http://www.gotquestions.org/great-white-throne-judgment.html
