On Darwin and Darwinism: A Letter to Professor Giberson
An open letter to Professor Karl Giberson, in answer to his posting, “How Darwin Sustains My Baptist Search for Truth.”
Dear Professor Giberson:
I read with interest your posting at The Huffington Post, brought to my attention by friends. I will respond by means of this open letter, though your tone and chosen forum are not indicative of any serious desire for an honest exchange. Your choice of a secular website, well known for its more liberal leanings, is quite a statement in itself. Did you write this in order to gain the favorable attention of the readers at The Huffington Post? If so, presumably you have your reward. But your tone — hardly the tone of a serious scholar or scientist — is even more disappointing.

About Coram Deo
Greetings! By way of introduction I am a born-again Christian who seeks to live in the presence of, under the authority of, and to the honor and glory of the Triune Yahweh Elohim Shaddai–the One True and Living LORD God Almighty Who is the self contained, self sufficient, and unique infinite Creator of all things.
I believe the historic, orthodox, Biblical Christian faith as found in the 66 books of the Holy Bible is the only true and right religion that has been revealed to mankind and all other faiths and extra-Biblical sources of revelation are absolutely false and without any eternal merit or redemptive power.
Through this medium I hope to share my worldview with any who are interested, and in this manner I hope to expand my witness to the lost, and extend whatever ability I’ve been given to edify the believer to the praise of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, the risen Savior.
Sola Scriptura! (Scripture alone), Sola Fide! (faith alone), Sola Gratia! (grace alone), Soli Christo! (Christ alone) - Soli Deo Gloria! (to God alone be glory)
I am thankful for Christian men like Al Mohler who stand for the Truth.
The people at BioLogos don’t have any thing to stand on, and are easily disproved by history and more importantly the Word of God.
Where I live, “smack” generally refers to “trash-talking” or lies or gossip or slandering someone else in a boastful way. At least that’s what they mean “on the street,” as they say, when they use the term “talking smack.” I’m assuming this post is actually commending Mohler, though.
MA,
I believe Coram was referring to a “smackdown” rather than “talking smack”.
Mohler needs to lay the “Smackdown” on Rick Warren for his different gospel and John Piper for inviting a false teacher at his conference.
Oh I forgot, he needs to lay the smackdown on the Southern Baptist Convention for allowing Freemasons in there and other wickedness.
