Persecution in Pakistan by the “Religion of Peace.”

A sobering reminder that most Christians in this world are not experiencing their Best Life Now.

Rasheed Masih was murdered with axes by six Muslims for refusing to convert to Islam. Arshed Masih was burned alive in front of a police station for refusing to recant his faith and his wife was raped by a police officer (article found here).

More horrifying stories of how the world treats those who stand and endure for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray when my turn comes I will endure to the end. Precious is the death of these in the sight of the Lord

I know I do not have it me to “stand and endure.” May Christ be my supply. (Not trying to sound religious. I am not very tough.)

    These stories are sobering indeed.

Yes this is a sobering reminder…
Too bad is is swept under the rug by most of so-called Christians, Pastors, Christian Radio and Artists…

But I was one of those for over 40 years, and most of my family still is, the last thing I or they want is bad news tha will rain on their Christan Vanity Fair.

This is pretty exciting actually! Think of it…being killed in such a manner for Jesus, wow! Kind of puts our, “Someone laughed at me at the gas station for singing a Christian song out loud…” in perspective. We need this kind of persecution over here in order to weed out the wimps and false Christians from those who are sleeping giants. It’s wake up time and it’s coming. Are we ready? I can say without an iota of doubt…NO!
This man and his wife will be honoured and raised up as martyrs for Jesus and all glory will go to God. Could we resist recanting Christ Jesus in the face of such horrible persecution? We shake our fists at God when our car breaks down and question His love when our taxes go up. No, we are a different cut than those overseas. They were born in fire it seems and they will inevitably die in fire, unlike us, we were born in a Lazy Boy, and will die in one with the “Message” laying upside down in our fat laps.

Wow. I must say there’s not one thing in your comment that I disagree with. And the delivery was spot on.

Thanks for your passion and perspective.
