From OCRegister LAKE FOREST – Mega-church pastor Rick Warren announced on Twitter that the Jonas Brothers will make a special appearance during Saddleback Church’s Easter Service.
The April 4 event at Angel Stadium will celebrate the 22,000-member church’s 30th anniversary.
“Kari Jobe will sing at Saddleback’s Easter service at Angel Stadium (Our 30th birthday!) April 4. The Jonas Brothers too,” Warren tweeted.
“This Easter will be unlike any we’ve had at Saddleback before, as we rejoice together for one momentous service at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. We’ll have special guests, inspiring worship, and Pastor Rick will take a memorable look back at where we’ve been as a church, and most importantly, talk about the future,” the church’s Web site said.

I agree that this is sad but lets pretend for a moment that the Jonas brothers were to sing Christ honoring songs that point to his majesty and speak of the power of the cross and His mighty word. Would it be wrong then?

I don’t really understand why we would even want to pretend, it obviously will not happen. Why? 1. Warren is a false teacher, Christ does not acknowledge an apostate church, other than to call it to repentance {see Rev. 3 and the Laodicean church} 2. Whatever music is played will not be to honor the Jesus of the Bible, it will be to honor the ‘jesus’ that fills the pews, the entertainment ‘jesus’, the ‘jesus’ that doesn’t cause division, or ruffle feathers; in a nutshell, it will be a god created by man that will be worshiped.
Are the Jonas Brothers born again, and, if so, why do they perform in front of young teenage girls, causing them to want them, scream for them, and pay money to watch them in the spotlight? Sounds like idol worship doesn’t it?

Indeed – all one has to do is watch their videos on YouTube to see it is all flesh no different than what you find from any other pop band. This all being far from Christ honoring, it is in actuality Christ dishonoring and a stench in the Lord’s nostrils. If these young men are truly Christians, they do well to take the first off ramp from this Rock and Roll highway to hell they are careening down. Because if not, this industry will devour them where when it has used them for its sordid purposes, vomit them out of its putrid mouth as it does all its victims.
Rick Warren, approving them in their sin, will be doubly accountable as he should be counseling them to forsake this fleshly way, pick up their cross, and walk the narrow road. But, I’m not holding my breath…

How many are so caught up in following their leaders, trusting they wouldn’t lead them astray, that they forget we are to “test all things” (1Thess 5:21). And, more noble than the Thessalonians, were the Bereans, who searched the Scriptures to see if the things being taught were true (that is, true to the Scriptures) (Acts 17:11).
“Inspiring worship”? From a worldly band? How does that fit with: “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (Jn.4:24)?
This is not to condemn the Jonases. They are merely doing their worldly thing. But this Jonas gig has no place in the ekklesia (the “called-out ones” who are separated from the world unto Christ). Rick Warren continues to display by his fruit what he is.
The Jonas Brothers are satanists just like all the other MK Ultra and Monarch mind controlled Disney slaves brought to the gullible American public by TPTB who are under the sway of the wicked one. The Jonas Brothers are perfect for today’s ‘church’. They are not born again Christians, and their music is not solely to glorify God; with that said, what business do they have performing during a worship service? Isn’t the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord both a somber yet a glorious event? What does a teeny bopper band have to do with worshipping and praising a holy God? When one considers where this ‘performance’ will take place, it all makes sense. The visible church in America is filled with superficial Christians; they claim Christ, yet, they dress like the world, they act like the world, talk like the world; they drink, cuss, are sexually immoral, etc. You cannot tell them apart from the unbeliever. My bible says we are not to love the world, we are called to be separate. Repentance is not preached, neither is regeneration.
