I enjoy listening to Paul Washers sermons, I only have a question. Ive listened to his wife’s testimony as she was not Saved during those 12 years in missionary and she finally came to a self-examination of her own state with God. I do know sometimes as Christian Men, some could allow there flesh to direct us towards marriage to a woman instead of the Lord.
The woman is nice, prays with us, attends church, speaks about God, repentance, salvation, judgement, hell, wrath, God glory etc.. but actually is not coming to a true understanding of God based on their own condition, but rather on following the lead of their Husband. I wonder if Paul Washer knew about his wifes condition or was he in denial about it before they were married or after.
Ive havent heard or found anything on Paul Washer and his response to his wifes testimony and his own self examination on his wife’s standing with Christ?
@CPCIV, I have heard Paul Washer’s testimony about his wife. He didn’t say anything about before he married his wife Charro. All he said is that “he loved her.” But he did say something to the effect that i there marriage he could tell that all she did were works about 3 years before her coming to repentance and salvation. But He did know that she wasn’t converted while in the marriage.
