Thanks for the post. Francis Schaeffer was a powerfull voice to his generation.(It is a tragedy to see his son as a proud apostate today)
I think that whenever faith in the absolutes of God’s word is diluted or destoyed ,eventually the result is not secularism but superstition and occultism. We see this every where today including what is termed the church. Contemplative prayer(TM),visualization, speaking reality into existence(witchcraft) etc have taken the church by storm.There are forces that are consciously and deliberately infiltrating christianity in an attempt to nullify it’s influence on their agenda.eg research the influence of Alice Bailey; a prominent new ager and her husband a high ranking Freemason(the founders of Lucifer Publishing;now called Lucis Trust) and their involvement with the United Nations. This may help to excplain why so many UN proclaimations are so anti-christian.God will not be mocked and He will always raise up voices such as his site to alert the people of God Ps 2 is always an encouragement to me as men (and satan) plot against the purposes of YHWH.
Hello there… I’m not sure why even a supportive comment would be censored. Again, I would just like to say that I enjoyed this sermon and took much from what Schaeffer had to say. It spoke to me.
