Craig,

Thanks for your thoughts. Let's clarify for you -

If there is no judgment in the church, there is no holiness.
If there is no holiness in the church, there is also no purity.
If there is no purity, there is no true church.
If there is no true church, there is no life. In other words, a true church can only be present when true believers are present. A church full of the dead is nothing more than an edifice.
If there is no life, it is because there is no Christ.

On another note, your reasoning is not wrong and could also be used to sum up what I am saying. Thanks for stopping by.

No writer likes an over ambitious editor, but here goes.

NO JUDGMENT = NO HOLINESS --> Ok

NO HOLINESS = NO PURITY --> Ok

NO PURITY = NO CHURCH --> If you mean the Body of Christ, then ok.

NO CHURCH = NO LIFE --> I don't follow this one at all.

NO LIFE = NO CHRIST --> This is just backward.

I would reason it this way.

No Christ = No Judgement = No Holiness = No purity =
No sanctification = No glorification = No Life

Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” There are some burdens which may be shared with a brother or sister in Christ. These include burdens which can be alleviated through prayer, encouragement, and charitable giving. When you see someone bearing a burden that you can share, do not hesitate to fulfill the law of Christ: “Love one another.”

Thank you for these posts.

I pray that they may be used of God to show people that it is imperative that we do judge in a righteous manner!

In this post, I particularly like the statement; NO JUDGMENT = NO HOLINESS. NO HOLINESS = NO PURITY. ETC etc.

A difficult topic, primarlity due to the world and it's "11th Commandment, of 'Thou Shall Not Judge" spreading its rubbish as usual...

Something we should be remembering. Of course, the world won't understand but it's necessary so we don't bring the world into the church! That was never supposed to have been done originally!
