Sermon of the week: “The Suffering Servant” by Randall Easter.

isaiah53Your sermon of the week is The Suffering Servant by Pastor J. Randall Easter. Pastor Easter preaches a great sermon from Isaiah 53 that I wished to share with the readers (and listeners) of DefCon. I plan to provide you with a sermon on the same subject by Phil Johnson next week.

  1. I happen to know Randall Easter. Have heard him preach, seen how he treats his wife and kids. Ridden motorcycles with him and seen him pull a wheelie. Bottom line: a solid man of God who rightly fears the Lord and humbly calls people to repentance and faith in the only One Who can save them from hell. He is a solid family man, to boot (study AW Tozer to discover how this is often not the case).

  2. This is a great sermon. In fact, all the sermons Easter preached during this revival were good.

If you get an opportunity, please post the Jonah sermon for your readers to hear!

Wow. First Voddie Baucham, now Randall Easter. You sure do know all the heavyweights! Are you a groupie? :o)

    WayneDawg:
I am working on it. I will be adding more sermons from him in the future. Currently the next six Wednesday’s are all booked up with sermons. Thanks to the internet there’s not a shortage of good sermons to be found . . . there’s just not enough hours in the day.

Unfortunately this will not last forever. I’m certain government restrictions will change our access to sermons in the future.

P.S. Next Wednesday’s sermon of the week is on the same subject (Isaiah 53) by Phil Johnson.

  4. Bwaaa-haaa-haaa! I’m not a groupie, but my soul rejoices when sound preaching reaches it! I thank the Lord for men who do not shrink back from proclaiming His Truth. He has allowed me to get to know those whom I am blessed in Christ to know.

Regarding gummint action – I must refrain from “speaking” as what comes out defiles a man.

  5. “Unfortunately this will not last forever. I’m certain government restrictions will change our access to sermons in the future.”

Really……I must be out of the loop on this one. What is on the burner?

Proclaiming God’s Truth is becoming “hate speech”.

  7. Great sermon! Praise Jesus!
