“We need a new vision of the MAJESTY of GOD!” Amen and amen.
“We live in the land of a bankrupt church.” Is it an exaggeration to say that, perhaps, MOST of American churches are thus? Complicit in entertaining goats than tending sheep?
“Submissive to the total will of God.”
Praise God for His Word and those who faithfully preach it. Thanks for posting this humbling message. May the Lord be glorified in all we think, say, and do. And may He continue to have mercy on us. I cannot stand to think of eternity if left to my own devices.
May the God of Abraham have mercy on us, the church, and open our eyes to the reality of that great and soon coming day! We are entertained by so much in this world. We have become a culture of worshiping football on Sunday’s and spending countless hours studying statistics, tailgating, and planning everything we do in the name of entertainment.
We need to seek our Lord and ask him to fill our hearts so full of his Holy Spirit that our greatest joy and pleasure will be derived from spending time with Him! Ask yourself and be honest; do you derive your greatest pleasure from spending time with Him? Can any of us honestly answer that question with a yes?
I would encourage you to begin to examine the things you occupy your time with and with whom, and pray that God would reveal to you those things that are an idol before Him. I am personally struggling with letting go of attending or spending a lot of time watching high school, college and pro football. I would appreciate anyone out there who would pray specifically with me to see these things as God sees them.
Thank you Pastor Ravenhill for such a convicting message!

perhaps we all need to watch this daily…
Thank you for this video. The shame of knowing that we let Him down so terribly and so frequently.
