As I was going through some old articles I’d printed out, I came across one from Ingrid Schlueter entitled ‘What God seeks in His remnant in Laodicea’. This article was from Sept. 14, 2007 and was posted by Ingrid at Slice. As I re-read this article, I felt compelled to share this particular paragraph {concerning the present apostasy} with my brothers and sisters in Christ. May it bless you this day…
“We can continue to cry out and warn, but in the process, we must never lose sight of our first responsibility…our own walk and relationship to Christ. There’s an old gospel song that has the line, ‘into the love of Jesus, deeper and deeper I go’—that’s where we need to put our energies most of all. The enemy wins a great victory if we exert most of our energies and time only examining the terrible state of a rebellious church and ignore our need for fellowship at the feet of Jesus” – - Ingrid Schlueter
