What a powerful video from Paul. I have seen the evidence of the evangelism that he is talking about in a conversation I was having with a girl on myspace. I could tell in her comments to me that she believed she was saved because she had prayed a prayer and yet said she enjoyed getting drunk and partying. I have noticed this type of evangelism has made the spread of the “you are a judgmental legalist if you use the Bible to back up what you say” even greater now a days. In her final conversation with me she told me (and other gentleman who had been conversing with her) to take a cross, do what Linda Blair did in the Exorcist with the Cross, and twist it around.

Washer is right on target. “Decision-ism” is part of what MacArthur calls Christianity Lite, what Piper calls the American Gospel, what Comfort calls the Modern Gospel. It’s part of the truncated, incomplete gospel so prevalent in churches today. We need more men like Washer.
As I was going to write this comment I read what Wayne above has written…….
