First of all, who said anything about being good!! It would seem you are trying to justify fulfilling your fleshly desires by defending this trash. What does Christ ‘healing the sick’ have to do with girls gyrating in a sensual way? And who are the ‘sick’? The very garbage you defend is indeed sick!
How sad we justify immoral behavior with twisted references to our Holy Lord. Yes, Jesus ate with the sinners, but, what else did He do? You conveniently left that part out! He made them aware of their sins, for instance, the woman at the well, Christ told her, ‘He said to her, “Go, call your husband and come here.” The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have correctly said, ‘I have no husband’; for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly.” John 14:16-28
Christ exposed her sin, in a gentle way, and made her aware of who He was by doing so. He certainly didn’t ask her to ‘gyrate’ for Him!
What does Jesus tell the woman who was caught in the act of adultery? Keep on acting immoral? NO!! He says, from John 8:11, “From now on sin no more.”
To continue on in lewd behavior is NOT what blood bought born from above believers in Jesus Christ are called to do, nor will they do.
This is why the command to REPENT is so necessary when proclaiming the Gospel, yet so lacking.

So you're equating our exposing of teen girls gyrating to sex-laden pop music in a church sanctuary under an illuminated cross as the same as Jesus' preaching salvation to sinners? Wow, what a stretch. Will the Laodiceans stop at nothing to justify the lukewarm, the unholy, the worldly, and the wicked? I guess everything's acceptable now as long as you defend it with, "We don't know the context." Very clever, procojet, and it may fly elsewhere, but we're not buying it here. Your defending this junk via ambiguity is very weak. If you want to really make headway in your defense of worldly behavior in the Church, then why don't you enlighten us as to exactly what the "context" was and how it was actually pleasing to God. This way we can correct our misunderstanding of their righteous intentions and issue a public apology. How secular did Jesus seem to the Pharisees when he ate and drank with sinners….when he kept company with prostitutes? Was this dance honoring and relevant in the context of which is was performed….who knows? What was the context….what was it’s intention? What was the purpose and point? We would say that one is being foolish by taking one verse of the Bible and doing an expository message without any of the surrounding content/context being explored and cross references being searched and studied. Yet, we “good christians” are going to criticize these girls for doing something irreverent when we don’t even have enough grounds to stand on……Jesus came to heal the sick in a completely irrelevant way according to some.

That is absolutely ridiculous! Church is for worshiping God, not Satan or the flesh but then what else can we expect in this day and age when the love of many wax cold towards the Lord Jesus Christ?
