I believe that the deviant and weird will pour out of the woodwork when the new administration comes in on 01/20/09.

My department threw a baby shower for a woman who’s “partner” is going to have a baby. The party was scheduled for the end of our supervisor’s meeting. I quietly gathered up my notes and left the meeting as the gifts rolled in. I will be odd man out in my department. I have to wonder when diversity training will roll in.

The days are dark and they are going to get darker.

I like what the late Adrian Rogers said “when small men cast long shadows you know the sun is setting”. I think the sun is setting on time itself.
