Could you imagine this conversation from the apostle Paul to Timothy, who was an elder of a local church in regards to Demas.
“Timothy, you are a good young man and learning to be a good preacher and elder of your church. However, you are just WAY too concerned over the situation with Demas. Yes, I know that he likes to swear like the Roman soldiers I am surrounded by, but from what I understand he only does it when he FEELS it is edifying to another brother.”
