Yes, the Bible is the living word. There are many reasons for the Bible. One is to give us a guide for living life. I also would like to make it clear that I never implied that there are no false teachers. In fact, this is why I say trust unto the Lord and no one else. Does the Lord not let one know if one strays from his word? One does not need man for this. The only judment that matters is not of man but of God. Again, there is only one Lord and only one truth. The fact that one can not understand Gods glory and his truth is my point. Beware of the teacher who professes to know the truth. I have done no bickering of any kind. In fact I have said nothing of anyones view of scripture. I have merely given my own view. The only scripture that I have quoted was John 14:6. I simply stated it. I gave no explanation for it. God will give the reader the message he wants the reader to recieive. I also said that we will all know the truth someday. The question is, will it be here on earth or in Gods kingdom? God will decide when we are deserving of it not us. I would like to say that I am no better then any of you. I am merely a servant to our Lord Jesus Christ. I was only trying to make a point. I believe I have. I do not condem anyone of you for your beliefs. I know many of you will judge me but I only fear Gods judgement. I pray all of you will continue to read Gods word with new eyes. It is time for me now to move on. I leave you now with these words, for they are much wiser then mine. “And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth, not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. But Jesus said forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is on our part.” (Mark 9:38-40)

There is only one Lord and one truth. The demons confess this, and tremble. For we as men can not fully comprehend the truth nor fully understand Gods glory. No mere creature can fathom the infinite glory of God, but He has revealed what He would have us to know in His Word (Deut. 29:29) which reached its ultimate expression in the Person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God by whom He has spoken to us (Heb. 1:1-3). What's your point? This is why I believe it is frivolous to bicker about scripture. Yet here you are bickering about our view of Scripture. Doesn't this strike you as oddly hypocritical? Sinful pride consumes us as one tries so hard to prove they know the truth. So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:31-32 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. - John 17:17 What Is Truth? We will all know the truth someday. Yes, and according to Matt. 6:23 the truth will take many by surprise. Friend, you say if being born again means a renewed comittment to Christ as personal Savior, then yes, you are born again.
That is not what being born again means. When God re-births a dead in sin sinner, He changes you from the inside out; this is a supernatural work that only He can bring about. This has NOTHING to do with any human decision or recommitting one’s life, read Ezekiel 36:26, 27 and notice who does it all…’I will give you’; ‘I will put my’…

Not everybody calling himself Christian is of Christ.
Common belief among all Christian is that the Bible is the Word of God. So read 2 Peter 2:1-3 and try to understand why we not only focus on “common beliefs” (even demons believe that there is one God), but according to the Bible we warn against false teachers.
We do not attack each other, but try to warn those weak in faith or uncertain.

Actually, the devil gains ground by keeping people THINKING they are Christians, yet having a false security in false doctrines, false christs, and false gospels. Jesus addressed this very thing in Matt. 7:21-23:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

In other words, many will think they are Christians, even calling Jesus “Lord”, and do many “Christian” works. But the key issue, according to Jesus, isn’t whether we believe in Him, or whether we do good works in His name, but whether we are faithful to obey His word. To those “good workers” who also do (or teach) that which is contrary to God’s word (the “lawless”), Jesus says they are not His (no matter how much they insist they are “christian”). Coram Deo actually addressed this issue regarding Christian unity in this very post. I encourage you, friend, to read it again.

It’s a shame so many christians attack each other. We should focus on our common beliefs as christians. The devil is gaining ground here on earth by dividing us. (divide and conquer)
