If you can watch this video and still claim that Bentley is a man of God, you may be suffering from SaWL, Signs and Wondrous Lies Disorder.

Dr. Yehshua’s Seven-Step Program for Sufferers of Bentley SaWL Disorder

1. Get a Bible. (This must be a mainstream orthodox version like KJV or NAS. NWT, or others like it, won’t work.)
2. Pray that God’s Spirit will open your eyes to the truth as you read His Word.
3. Open the Bible.
4. Read the Bible.
5. Think about what you read and continue to ask God to reveal to you His truth.
6. Re-read the Bible.
7. Keep reading until you’ve read the whole Bible.

If the above steps didn’t seem to work, trying answering these questions.

1. Are you reading a Bible that you can understand? (e.g. English-only readers should get an English translation, not Chinese.) *

2. Are you trying to read the Bible upside-down? To fix this turn it over – no, not so that you’re looking at the back of it.

3. Are you trying to “READ IN TONGUES”? You may have been convinced by other SaWLites that this is a gift of yours, but the Bible doesn’t mention it. So try to read the Bible as plainly as you think a non-SaWL person would.

4. Are you waiting for a visitation in which an angel will read it for you? God gave you eyes, a brain, language, and for most of you, the ability to reason. Use them.

5. Do you have an “enhanced” version of the Bible? Are there more than 66 books? Are there pages torn out? Has someone marked through some verses or rewritten them? This is common with SaWL sufferers, Roman Catholics, Watchtower followers, Mormons, et. al. You will need to get a new Bible. I would suggest a KJV or NAS.

Now return to Step 2 of the program and try it again.

* If you’ve read your Bible but still can’t understand it, place your hand on the pages. Do you feel hundreds of tiny little bumps beneath your fingers? If so, you have been trying to read a Braille Bible. Someone played a trick on you when you told them you were a SaWL sufferer. They gave you a Bible for the blind. Go back and get another one.

Hope that helps. Remember that recovery is a life-long journey of one-day trips, each taken one at a time.
