The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the Chicago Archdiocese didn’t remove him from being priest at St. Sabina’s. They actually gave him 2 weeks leave, or a “cooling-off period” as the Chicago Sun-Times put it. It seems though that most at St. Sabina’s back Pfleger & are demanding a meeting with Francis Cardinal George to get him to reverse his decision.
