I think it’s worth noting that Dr. Mohler is adheres to the glorious Biblical doctrines of grace.
Those who hold most closely to these truths exhibit - without fail - a lofty, exalted view of God and His Holy Word.
Praise be to God for men like Al Mohler! Oh that the King of Glory would raise up more bold witnesses for His Eternal Gospel of grace!
Soli Deo Gloria!

It is truly a beautiful thing to see someone speak the truth in love and let the chips fall where they may.
Great job Dr. Al Mohler!

Having read Dr. Mohler’s chapter entitled “Being Baptist Means Conviction” in “Why I Am A Baptist” and seeing these videos, I applaud Dr. Mohler for taking a stand on his Biblical convictions!
“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth.” Ephesians 6:14

I noticed the last guy in the top video (kinda looked like he might be some kind of monk) said “Jesus said, ‘Whoever is not against Me is for Me’”). I hate to tell Father Murphy (”Little House on the Prarie” reference) but if you do not believe that complete faith in the atoning sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the only way to being righteous in this life and the next–then you are not for Him, and are indeed against Him.

Pilgrim,
There are lots of ways to get to heaven. The problem is there is only one way to stay there. notables.weebly.com

The “Friar Tuck” guy in the first video stated…
This man’s paraphrase of Jesus’ words carries the reverse implication from what is found in Scripture. I may be reading too much into his statement, but he seems to be suggesting that as long as one doesn’t openly defy or oppose Christ, i.e. Christianity, then they are “for Christ” and are saved. The actual Scripture verses carry the opposite implication.
Matthew 12:30
[30] He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
Luke 11:23
[23] He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

I really can’t believe this Priest proclaims that you don’t even have to believe in Jesus to go to Heaven. The Catholic Church has become the EZ-Pass into heaven. This has a very liberal “If it feels good, do it” approach to Christianity. It seems the only issues I agree with the Catholic Church is Pro-life and Marriage.
I still go to Catholic Church, mostly for my daughter. I’m considering leaving, but the grass is not always greener. I don’t like all the fighting that’s going on inside the Evangelical community. It seems many churches have problems with power structure and cliques. I’m thankful for the internet, where I can listen to people like Paul Washer and others and read my Bible. BTW, cool blog….
