According to Wall Watchers in the latest issue of World Magazine, after refusing to make its financial records public, and after months of criticism (including reports in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch), Joyce Meyer Ministries has finally caved in and sold their five-home estate (worth 3.7 million dollars) and are starting to make their financial statements available.
My contention is not whether or not preachers like this make their financial records available to the public. I don’t need financial records to know that they are rolling in money and living in the lap of luxury. My contention is 1). How are they using the money? and 2). What are they teaching?
