How did the early Church ever get the gospel out?

How did the early Church ever preach the gospel without gimmicky displays like the Power Team with music from POD?

The Power Team’s website boasts that they increase your “church growth” by 20% and that 60% of those who come to see them are the “unchurched.” Wow. More of those buzzwords flying around.

  1. Mark says:

They preached, and then gathered to celebrate Eucharist.

    Oh wait – celebrate Eucharist?

    What’s that?

John 6:66. Read it. Which are you – one of the apostles who stayed, or one who left Jesus at that point. In say, 1517?

  2. Pilgrim says:

What in the world does this have to do with the Power Team & POD?

  3. John Foust says:

Visit my web site to learn more about the Power Team’s performances, practices, background, and the response of the public to their performances.
